Study of distribution systems
The study evaluates losses through distribution / handling systems and suggests methods to optimize the same. The electrical distribution system is analyzed of voltage drop, while compressed air piping is evaluated for pressure drops and leakages. Steam The study also identifies the major source of losses and their contribution and suggests methods to optimize the same.

Study of processes and operations
The study evaluates performance of major processes and operations for efficient utilization of resources. The systems are studies to evaluate operating capacity and process efficiency. It identifies major areas for improvements and suggests methodologies to achieve the same.

Thermography
The primary aim of the studies is to survey thermal profile of all the electrical panels and to capture abnormal temperature profile – The Hot Spots with actual temperature.

Thermal Imaging of Hot / Insulated Surfaces
Thermal imaging shall be carried out to estimate the heat losses through the cold as well as hot insulation.

Power & Harmonic Analysis
The studies provides collection and analysis of all the major electrical parameters like voltage, current, power, power factor, current and voltage harmonics (total as well as individual levels) for the mutually decided period.

Idea Generation Campaigns

Brainstorming Sessions:
A set of brainstorming sessions shall be conducted with cross-function team to generate fresh ideas for improvement of energy performance. The purpose of the programs is to involve plant persons in the process of energy conservation and generate fresh ideas. The program shall be conducted jointly with the help of coordinator and shall be independent of our studies. The findings from the sessions shall be reviewed and separately commented upon in the report.

Informal meeting:
A set of informal meetings shall be conducted with various groups during the entire course of studies to generate ideas and collect feedback on the implementation

Suggestion Scheme:
A suggestion scheme shall be conducted throughout the studies to generate fresh ideas for improvement of energy performance. The purpose of the programs is to involve plant persons in the process of energy conservation and generate fresh ideas.
